Peter Okoye, a member of the popular music duo P-Square, made the remarks on his official X handle, where he expressed frustration over what he described as sponsored attacks targeting individuals who speak on national issues.

The singer stated that he is now fully prepared to speak out on insecurity in Nigeria, regardless of backlash from critics or online detractors.

“The way I’m about to start speaking out on insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria, all these N3k sponsored attackers better get ready,” he wrote.

He further emphasised that attempts to intimidate or silence him would not work, adding that he has reached a point where public opinion no longer deters him from expressing his views.

“If una wan cancel me, make una line up well. Cos me too I don fall out,” he added.

Peter Okoye’s comments come amid growing national conversations around insecurity and governance in Nigeria, with several entertainers and public figures increasingly using their platforms to demand accountability.

The development has sparked continued debate online, with some Nigerians praising celebrities who speak out, while others argue that public figures should approach sensitive issues with caution.
