Karibi-George, who was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026, has urged Nigerians at home and abroad to participate in the voting process as she pursues the coveted Miss World Blue Crown.

“The journey continues, and every vote brings us one step closer to the Blue Crown,” Karibi-George said in a message to supporters.

“I am honoured to carry the Nigerian flag on the Miss World stage, and I want to know that Nigerians everywhere are standing with me.”

Supporters can vote for Nigeria’s representative through the official Miss World voting platform.

Voters should visit the official Miss World voting platform, locate Nigeria’s candidate page for Tamunosoye Karibi-George and follow the instructions provided to complete the voting process.

Karibi-George has encouraged Nigerians to treat the campaign as a collective effort, stressing the importance of public support during the competition.

“Your support matters. Your vote matters. Nigeria matters,” she said.

She later added: “If you believe in this journey, stand with me and cast your vote for Queen Soye Karibi-George.”

The 26-year-old beauty queen from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, arrived in Vietnam to represent Nigeria at the ongoing Miss World Festival.

Karibi-George won the Miss World Nigeria 2026 title at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, after emerging ahead of 19 other finalists.

Although she represented Bayelsa State at the national competition, she is originally from Port Harcourt.

Beyond pageantry, Karibi-George is a trained communications professional and an associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.

Her work also extends to advocacy. She founded Beyond Labels, an initiative focused on inclusion, dignity and empowerment for children with special needs, making social impact an important part of her pageant platform.

Karibi-George previously won the Miss Africa International 2024 title in Accra, Ghana, before taking the national Miss World Nigeria crown.

Her campaign at the global festival therefore extends beyond the competition itself, with the Nigerian representative using the international platform to highlight her advocacy work while showcasing Nigerian culture and values.

The 73rd Miss World Festival is taking place in Vietnam, where contestants are participating in various activities and challenges ahead of the final.

Nigeria will be hoping for another strong performance after Joy Mojisola Raimi finished among the Top 20 at the 72nd Miss World pageant in India.
