The Akwaaba African Travel Market organisers praised the Nigerian government for swiftly addressing visa issues for delegates, ensuring smooth participation.

The Akwaaba African Travel Market organisers commended the Nigerian government for efficiently resolving visa issues for foreign delegates.

Held annually in Lagos, the event caters to businesses, investors, and decision-makers in travel and tourism. Ambassador Ikechi Uko, the lead organiser, initially faced frustrations with the expensive online visa on arrival and delays from Nigerian embassies in East Africa.
