Twelve-year-old Jessica Mazoje has been crowned Tourism Queen at the Little Mr and Miss Africa-Nigeria 2024 Cultural Diversity Pageant, held recently in Lagos.

Representing the Isoko tribe of Delta State from Nigeria’s South-South region, Jessica stood out in the 10th edition of the prestigious beauty contest, celebrating cultural diversity across the country.

Speaking about her dreams and aspirations, Queen Mazoje expressed her deep passion for the beauty industry and her desire to make an impact beyond the pageant stage.

“I want to be a beauty queen because it has always been my passion,” she said. “I also want to be an actress and a doctor. From childhood, I’ve dreamt of becoming a medical practitioner to help those in need and ensure they live healthy lives.”

The young queen also highlighted her plans to use her new title as a platform for empowering other young girls. “My dream is to help girls like myself who want to become beauty queens but lack opportunities due to financial challenges.

I’ll use my voice and position as the Tourism Queen to reach out to them, encouraging them not to give up on their dreams,” she added.

Jessica’s victory not only celebrates her own personal achievements but also serves as an inspiration to young girls across Nigeria, showcasing the power of determination and passion in pursuing one’s dreams.
