Animashaun shared his excitement, describing the carnival as a valuable platform that promotes unity, tourism, and empowerment.

“It’s a wonderful platform to celebrate our cultural richness, bringing people together to appreciate art, music, and business,” he stated. “This event will leave a lasting impact on participants and visitors alike.”

The Kogi International Carnival, themed *“Come, Experience, Explore, and Invest in the Confluence State,”* promises to deliver an immersive experience of Nigerian culture.

Prince Philip Orebiyi, one of the organisers, emphasised that the event’s goal is to foster cultural exchange, boost tourism, and empower local communities through a week filled with exciting activities.

Performances by both local and international artists will be central to the festivities, showcasing Kogi’s cultural diversity.

A major highlight of the carnival is the fashion show, set to feature both Nigerian and African designers who will present collections celebrating the continent’s vibrant fashion heritage.

Additionally, a food festival will present local and international cuisine, allowing visitors to experience the region’s culinary diversity.

The carnival parade, with its elaborate costumes and vibrant floats, will visually celebrate Kogi State’s unique cultural identity.

The event will also feature educational workshops and masterclasses on art, music, and entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for attendees to learn from industry experts.

Both budding and established artists will have the chance to network and refine their skills. Special guests, including musicians, cultural ambassadors, government officials, and international dignitaries, will further elevate the carnival, drawing attention to Kogi State as a cultural and investment destination.

Set to take place across Lokoja, Kabba, Okene, and Anyigba, the carnival invites attendees from across Nigeria and beyond to explore Kogi State’s rich history and natural beauty.

Children under 12 will receive free entry, making it an inclusive event expected to attract a diverse audience.

With Ayo Animashaun’s endorsement, the Kogi International Carnival is set to be an unforgettable celebration, inviting participants to embrace Nigerian culture and build connections within the Confluence State.
