The festival, which aims to offer top-tier entertainment, will feature a variety of cultural, musical, and festive events, making it the perfect occasion for families and friends to come together and enjoy the holiday season.

The festivities will commence with an official tree-lighting ceremony led by Governor Peter Mbah, marking the start of what is expected to be an unforgettable month of celebrations.

Entertainment Highlights: A Feast for the Senses

The *Enugu Christmas Fest* will attract thousands of visitors from Enugu and beyond, offering a diverse lineup of activities. Attendees can look forward to live music events, such as the *African Praise Night*, *Afrobeat Concert*, *Highlife Concert*, and a vibrant *Food Bazaar*. In addition to music, the event will feature a *Street Carnival*, *Cultural Parade*, *Art Exhibition*, and *Phone Exhibition*, culminating in a grand *Fireworks Show* to dazzle the crowds.

A key highlight of the festival is the “*Santa Street Storm*”, where over 100 Santa Claus figures will parade through Enugu on tricycles, delivering gifts to orphanages and the less privileged across the state. This charitable gesture embodies the true spirit of Christmas, offering joy to the most vulnerable members of society.

Exclusive Events and Economic Opportunities

In addition to entertainment, the *Governor’s Red Ball* will be a prestigious red-tie event, bringing together key business leaders, investors, political figures, and members of the Enugu diaspora.

This elegant dinner and awards night will offer an opportunity for high-profile networking and celebration.

Furthermore, the festival will host an array of commercial activities aimed at boosting the local economy. Daniel Eguyenga, speaking about the event, highlighted the festival’s combination of entertainment and economic opportunity.

A notable feature will be the showcasing of 50 export-ready businesses from Enugu during the *Governor’s Ball*, with representatives from organisations such as the World Bank, SMIDAN, and the Central Bank of Nigeria’s export desk facilitating opportunities for growth and development.

“There is a location called *Naira Triangle*, a massive roundabout where we will be installing 500,000 Christmas lights, creating a glowing ball of light,” Eguyenga shared. The installation, which will be launched by the governor, promises to be a visually stunning centrepiece of the festival.

The *Enugu Christmas Fest* will also showcase a 300-member orchestra led by Dr Festus Dokubo, a major attraction that will bring an added cultural dimension to the event. Additionally, plans to break ground for a historical and wax museum in Enugu state will add long-term value to the region’s cultural heritage and tourism sector.

Family Fun at Naira Triangle

At the heart of the city, the small resort *Naira Triangle* will provide a family-friendly escape featuring attractions such as a waterpark, mini golf, and blade skating. This location will further enrich the festival experience, offering a variety of leisure activities for all ages.

A Festival for All

With its extensive programme of events, including the iconic *Santa Storm*, live performances, and cultural exhibitions, the *Enugu Christmas Fest* promises to be a major boost for the local tourism industry.

By combining entertainment with economic and commercial opportunities, the festival is set to leave a lasting impact on Enugu’s economy and tourism development.

The inaugural *Enugu Christmas Fest* will truly be a spectacle of light, music, and community spirit, with something for everyone.

As the state prepares to welcome thousands of visitors, this landmark event will position Enugu as a premier holiday destination in Nigeria and beyond.
