This year’s theme, “Our Shared Prosperity,” highlights the spirit of collective growth and collaboration that underpins the festival’s mission.

The Calabar Carnival, a vibrant display of Nigeria’s rich cultural tapestry, attracts thousands of visitors and participants from across the globe.

As part of its sponsorship, Nigerian Breweries aims to contribute to the event’s success while strengthening its connection with Nigerian communities and celebrating the country’s cultural diversity.

Speaking about the sponsorship, Mfon Bassey, the National Trade Marketing Manager at Nigerian Breweries Plc, emphasised that the company’s partnership with the Calabar Carnival aligns with its broader commitment to celebrating Nigerian culture.

“Our partnership with the Calabar Carnival and Festivals reflects Nigerian Breweries’ dedication to nurturing platforms that celebrate the vibrancy and creativity of Nigerian culture,” Bassey said.

Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, expressed excitement over the expanded offerings of this year’s carnival, noting the importance of unity and collective prosperity in the festival’s programming.

“We are thrilled to present an even greater array of activities, as we come together to celebrate our shared prosperity,” Otu said.

Mary Ephraim-Egbas, CEO of Okhma Global Limited, the official brand marketing company for the carnival, praised Nigerian Breweries for its ongoing support.

“Nigerian Breweries’ support highlights the core values of our shared prosperity. Their contribution not only strengthens the festival’s global appeal but also enhances their position as a brand that deeply values cultural heritage,” Ephraim-Egbas stated.

The festival’s organisers also recognised the vital role Nigerian Breweries has played in the event’s continued success. Gabe Onah, Chairman of the CRS Carnival Calabar Commission, acknowledged the company’s unwavering support, which has helped bring the festival’s vision to life.
