    Governor Kefas Agbu visit security outfits in Taraba

    In his efforts to intensify the security situation in Taraba State, Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas on Monday 18th September, 2023 visited military and paramilitary formations in a bid to recalibrate the security architecture to effectively protect the lives and property of the citizens.

    The Governor underlined that his administration will not let its guard down in the fight against insecurity so that citizens can sleep with their two eyes closed.

    The Governor described the visit as a follow-up visit since the security chiefs had previously visited.
    The visit is also a part of Dr. Agbu Kefas’ resolute efforts to address the issue of insecurity in some parts of State and to raise the morale of security organizations as they carry out their fundamental duty of defending society.

    Places visited by Governor includes, the Department of State Service, Nigerian Army’s Sixth Brigade Headquarters, State Police Command, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, and the Federal Road Safety Commission.

    Others are the State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, Nigerian Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, Taraba State Fire Service, and Taraba Marshal Security Guards Ltd.

    In series of meetings with security personnel and traditional leaders, the Governor, repeatedly reaffirmed his commitment to the protection of lives and property of all Tarabans.

    The visit, without a doubt, conveyed the Governor’s strong and reassuring intention to personally see to it that the security formations work in accordance with his vision of making Taraba State safe and secure in order to promote investment in the Agriculture, Mining, and Tourism sectors among others.

    The Governor also visited the State College of Nursing and Midwifery where he inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of infrastructure projects in the institution and the site of new Government House.

    Dr. Agbu Kefas was accompanied on the visit by the State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, the Secretary to the Government of the State, Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps, and the Commissioner of Information and Reorientation, Hajiya Zainab Usman Jalingo among other top officials.

    The Baba Aladuras of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church inaugurates new ICOP executives, focusing on spiritual growth and national unit

     

    The Baba Aladuras and spiritual heads of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide (CSMC) have formally inaugurated a new executive for the Church’s International Council of Prophets (ICOP) in a ceremony that marks a significant milestone for the religious community.

    In his inauguration address, His Grace, Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, the Baba Aladura, urged the newly appointed executive to seek out fresh opportunities and leverage innovative ideas that will enhance the Church’s spiritual growth.

    He emphasised the importance of these efforts not only for the Church but for the wider Christian community.

    The Baba Aladura also highlighted the critical role of prayer, directing the ICOP to pray for the peace and stability of the nation.

    His specific mention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other government officials underlined the Church’s commitment to supporting leadership through prayer.

    Conference Supervising Prophet, Sp/Ap Pro Joel Adeniran, expressed his gratitude to the Church’s leadership for entrusting the new executive with this responsibility.

    He assured attendees that the programmes and activities of the new ICOP would align closely with the Church’s broader vision for spiritual development.

    As a central part of the Church’s mission, the ICOP will lead the way in initiating and coordinating prayer programmes aimed at fostering deeper spiritual growth within the Church.

    One of their key priorities will be to review and update the ethics and practice guidelines for prophets and prophetesses within the movement, ensuring that all members adhere to the highest standards of conduct.

    Looking ahead, the Conference Supervising Prophet also mentioned the forthcoming Annual Mount Horeb Ascension, an important spiritual event for the Church.

    He encouraged both Church members and the general public to take part in this year’s Mount Horeb programme, marking it as a pivotal moment for spiritual engagement and community building.

    The new ICOP leadership is expected to play an essential role in shaping the future of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, ensuring that the organisation continues to thrive spiritually and contribute positively to the wider community.

    Dr. Zara Fatima Abubakar has emerged as the 2025 *Miss Property Tourism*, also known as the *Queen of Real Estate*, marking the beginning of a transformative reign in Nigeria’s real estate and tourism sectors.

    The grand coronation ceremony, held in Abuja on Friday, brought together industry leaders, investors, and key stakeholders from both sectors.

    Adding to the significance of the occasion, Shatu Garko, mother of Miss Nigeria 2021, officially crowned Dr. Abubakar in the presence of top dignitaries, including Hajiya Nana Asma’u Jibrin, Director General of the Kano State Research and Documentation Directorate.

    As *Miss Property Tourism 2025*, Dr. Abubakar is tasked with championing real estate investment, sustainable tourism, and innovative housing solutions.

    Speaking at the coronation, Ossai Ilome, Project Manager of the *Real Estate Innovation and Investment Carnival*, emphasised the initiative’s impact.

    “This platform is more than a crown; it’s a responsibility to inspire young professionals, drive investment, and foster economic growth through real estate and tourism,” Ilome stated.

    He further stressed the importance of land reforms and tax incentives, calling for greater collaboration between industry leaders and the government to streamline investment opportunities.
