Enugu Set to Hold First Gaming Conference

The Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission (ESGC) says plans are underway to hold the inaugural Gaming Conference in the state.

In a statement to newsmen in Enugu yesterday, Chief Executive Officer of the ESGC, Arinze Arum said that the conference will establish Enugu as the leading destination for gambling tourism in Nigeria.

Arun noted that the conference, slated for June 27th, 2024 at the Amadeo Event Centre, with the theme: Exploring the Future of Gaming: Innovations and Collaborations’, will bring together industry stakeholders to explore new opportunities and collaborations within the gaming sector.

“This conference marks a pivotal moment for the gaming industry in Enugu State,” said Arum. “It’s an opportunity for us to showcase how far we have come in regulating and managing the gaming landscape in our state,”.

He maintained that it will provide opportunities for strategic partnerships between casino operators and hospitality providers and further unlock new avenues for growth and prosperity within our state.

He noted that the event will also provide attendees with insights into regulatory practices, market trends, and potential investment opportunities within the gaming sector.
