Dr. Zara Fatima Abubakar has been crowned Miss Property Tourism 2025, set to promote real estate investment and sustainable tourism in Nigeria

 

Dr. Zara Fatima Abubakar has emerged as the 2025 *Miss Property Tourism*, also known as the *Queen of Real Estate*, marking the beginning of a transformative reign in Nigeria’s real estate and tourism sectors.

The grand coronation ceremony, held in Abuja on Friday, brought together industry leaders, investors, and key stakeholders from both sectors.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, Shatu Garko, mother of Miss Nigeria 2021, officially crowned Dr. Abubakar in the presence of top dignitaries, including Hajiya Nana Asma’u Jibrin, Director General of the Kano State Research and Documentation Directorate.

As *Miss Property Tourism 2025*, Dr. Abubakar is tasked with championing real estate investment, sustainable tourism, and innovative housing solutions.

A key initiative under her reign will be the *Youth Access to Homes* project, a collaboration with the Nigeria Youth Organisation to promote homeownership among young Nigerians.

The *Miss Property Tourism* platform is a core component of the *Real Estate Innovation and Investment Carnival*, scheduled to take place from **20th to 22nd May 2025** at the **Velodrome, National Stadium, Abuja**.

The event aims to attract investors, homeowners, and policymakers while highlighting the real estate sector’s potential for a **16% return on investment**.

Speaking at the coronation, Ossai Ilome, Project Manager of the *Real Estate Innovation and Investment Carnival*, emphasised the initiative’s impact.

“This platform is more than a crown; it’s a responsibility to inspire young professionals, drive investment, and foster economic growth through real estate and tourism,” Ilome stated.

He further stressed the importance of land reforms and tax incentives, calling for greater collaboration between industry leaders and the government to streamline investment opportunities.
