Akwa Ibom: Fashion show to reposition state as top tourism destination debuts

In line with the ARISE Agenda of the Akwa Ibom State governor, Pastor Umoh Eno, the state is set to host the 13th edition of Mr. and Miss Nigeria International and the 1st Akwa Ibom Fashion Entertainment Reality Show (FETV) and Exhibition.

Renowned producer and fashion enthusiast, Dr. Brendan Nsikak, along with Bob Cal, chief executive of FETV, New York, USA, the team that is bringing a unique professional touch to the much anticipated event in Akwa Ibom, revealed that the event will feature fashion, pageantry, and a reality TV show, setting the stage for an unforgettable entertainment experience.

Commenting on the event expectations, Nsikak urged Nigerians not to miss the grand finale on October 20 in Uyo which he described as “an evening of glamour, beauty, and entertainment.”

He said further: “ With Akwa Ibom State set to take centre stage, this event is poised to be a game changer for the state’s tourism industry.”

The event which will kick off on October 8, 2024 and end on the 20th, will feature the prestigious Mr. and Miss Nigeria International pageant alongside the Akwa Ibom Fashion Entertainment Reality Show, and will be streamed live on seven international platforms across the United States and around the globe.

This event promises to reposition Akwa Ibom State as a top tourism destination, showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage and beauty.

With fashion, pageantry, and reality TV combined, the event will highlight the best of Akwa Ibom’s talent, style, and culture.
