Tourism Africa International Finals light up Jos as 23 nations compete in a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity

The Tourism Africa International Finals brought unprecedented vibrance to the city of Jos as Plateau State played host to the Miss and Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 World Finals.

The event became a powerful display of African culture, beauty and creativity, reaffirming the continent’s rising profile as a global tourism force.

The Tourism Africa International Finals featured contestants from 23 nations, each presenting talent, charisma and purpose in a celebration that transformed Jos into a cultural hotspot.

Supported by the Plateau State Government under Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the competition showcased the city’s cool weather, scenic views and warm hospitality, strengthening its status as Nigeria’s tourism heartbeat.

Mauritius’ Reyna Amboorallee emerged as Miss Tourism Africa International 2025. She was followed by Botswana’s Neolin Jacob as first runner-up and Nigeria’s Margaret Abbah as second runner-up.

On the men’s stage, Cape Verde’s Ednilton Delgado Da Cruz Silva claimed the Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 crown, with Takunda Ryan Chitope of Zimbabwe and Evans Ezekiel of Nigeria finishing as runners-up.

Two contestants, Jenna Andson Marie-Ange Meiÿe DeCastel of Gabon and Zamzam Godana of Kenya, were honoured as Tourism Ambassadors, recognised for their leadership and dedication to championing Africa’s tourism narrative.

Founder and President Ambassador Seth Santiago Roberts described the Tourism Africa International Finals as “a renaissance of Africa’s identity, where culture meets commerce and creativity becomes a bridge to economic growth.”

He stressed the importance of unity among African leaders and private investors in positioning Africa as the world’s leading tourism destination.
