Star Actress, Iyabo Ojo Celebrates 25 Years On Stage Amidst Arguments In The RHoLagos

We were all prepped for chaos as the previous The Real Housewives of Lagos episode preview promised an eventful showdown.

Celebrating Iyabo Ojo’s 25-year reign in Nollywood, she decided on a luxurious 3-day getaway at Epe Resort & Spa with the ladies. But, as we’ve come to expect, where there are Housewives, there’s bound to be drama!

First on the agenda? A sizzling ‘stripper night’ – a nod to Iyabo’s new movie where she plays a stripper named Tiannah, side-eye, we see you, Iyabo.

All was going well, with the ladies putting on their best stripper outfits and personas, Mariam even dubbed herself Sequina for the night. However, the night took a sharp left turn when Laura, who has a history of being MIA at Iyabo’s events, was notably absent.

Chioma, trying to be a peacemaker, had invited Laura despite Iyabo’s reservations. Chioma offered to call Laura and Mariam jumped in, questioning why Faith couldn’t, igniting the flame of the drama.

The ladies recalled Faith’s hesitation to call Laura during Chioma’s Yard Sale in episode two, leading them to question the authenticity of Laura and Faith’s friendship.

An intense back-and-forth between Faith and Mariam ensued, filled with quick quips and pointed jabs – “public toilet,” “racoon,” “Is she intelligent?” and “chimpanzee” remain notable.

As the drama escalated, even the hostess Iyabo got involved. Surprisingly, Faith Morey remained composed during the argument delivering one of the most iconic lines of the series yet, “I’m an Ikwerre girl, I need more than 10 of you to take me down!”

Despite the dramatic twists, Iyabo’s 25-year journey in the film industry remains commendable; while she intended to mark the significant milestone, the evening wrapped up on a tense note than planned.

As for us? We’re already marking our calendars for next Friday’s episode on Showmax.
