Seaman’s Schnapps has reaffirmed its commitment to preserving Nigeria’s cultural heritage during a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Rashidi Ladoja, ahead of his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The delegation, led by Nigeria Distilleries Limited Marketing Manager, Gbemileke Lawal, paid homage to the monarch in Ibadan, Oyo State, in line with the brand’s tradition of honouring revered Yoruba kings.
Lawal said the visit reflected the brand’s enduring cultural ties and recognition of the Olubadan stool as a “symbol of pride, strength, and continuity for the Yoruba people.”
“On behalf of Nigeria Distilleries Limited, we felicitate with Your Majesty as you prepare to ascend the throne, and we pray that your reign brings peace, prosperity, and unity to Ibadanland,” he added.
Senior Brand Manager Nnenna Uche-Onyenacho described Seaman’s Schnapps as Nigeria’s “Original No. 1 prayer drink and an iconic custodian of tradition.” She said the brand joins millions of well-wishers in praying for Oba Ladoja’s long life and successful reign.
In his response, the Olubadan-designate expressed gratitude for the visit. “I am deeply grateful for this visit and for your love. I pray that your team and your organisation continue to flourish and grow in strength,” he said.
Other members of the delegation included Regional Business Manager for the West Region, Ibadan, Osadare Victor, and Activation Manager, Benson Oluwafiropo.
Seaman’s Schnapps said the visit reaffirms its role in supporting Nigeria’s cultural institutions and monarchs who embody heritage, unity, and leadership.
