The event runs from November 12 to 15, 2025.

In collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, NATOP will highlight Nigeria’s music, fashion, cultural heritage, and top tourist destinations, providing global investors and enthusiasts with authentic insights into the country’s vibrant tourism potential.

NATOP President, Bolaji Mustapha, who will head the Nigerian delegation, stressed the significance of the initiative.

“Perception is key to global tourism marketing. NATOP is committed to projecting Nigeria’s true image and showcasing the immense potential of our destinations to the world.

We are grateful to the Lagos State Government for trusting NATOP to market its cultural and tourism opportunities in Dubai,” he said.

Under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos has consistently hosted top-tier international tourism events.

The state is leveraging this new platform with NATOP to reinforce its position as Nigeria’s most sought-after cultural tourism destination, while also highlighting investment opportunities and its comprehensive tourism master plan.

Curated by the Ibukun Awosika Leadership Academy, the Africa Market Place brings together over 250,000 African and Caribbean cultural and tourism products, spanning fashion, food, technology, culture, and beauty, providing unprecedented international visibility for participating countries.

Through this exhibition, Nigeria seeks not only to promote its cultural tourism offerings but also to restore confidence in its safety and attractiveness as a global travel destination.
