The Donald Trump Nicki Minaj Praise came during the Rose Garden event, where the president welcomed Minaj among invited guests and spoke about her achievements, personality and growing public profile.

Introducing the rapper, Trump described Nicki Minaj as a respected figure and a person admired by many before making comments about her appearance.

“We also have a woman who is respected and quite attractive. She is a wonderful friend of mine. I wouldn’t say conservative; I’d say common sense,” Trump said.

The president continued by praising Minaj’s character and career, saying she had earned recognition because of her talent and connection with fans around the world.

“She’s a fantastic person, a woman who is appreciated by everyone, and she possesses genuine talent; we have Nicki Minaj,” Trump added.

Minaj later shared photos from the luncheon on her X account, describing the appearance as a memorable White House moment.

“Whoa!!!! #WhiteHouse Barbie with her all-time favorite President!!!” the rapper wrote alongside the images.

The appearance comes after Minaj has increasingly attracted attention for her public comments on political issues and her support for some of Trump’s initiatives.

Earlier in 2026, the rapper discussed Trump’s immigration “gold card” programme, a proposal focused on offering a fast-track residency pathway for eligible applicants.

Minaj also attended the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, where she spoke positively about the president and acknowledged her support for his leadership.

Her political views have drawn both support and criticism, but the rapper has maintained that she is comfortable expressing her opinions despite public reactions.
