Fave anonymous floral gift sparks frustration as the singer says she has no interest in mystery bouquets from unidentified admirers

Nigerian singer Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, professionally known as Fave, has expressed frustration after receiving an anonymous bouquet of flowers, saying the gesture left her unimpressed rather than intrigued.

The award-winning artiste shared her reaction on her social media page on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, making it clear that she does not appreciate gifts from admirers who choose to hide their identities.

Fave said the bouquet arrived without a proper card or any indication of who sent it, adding that no one had contacted her afterwards to confirm whether she had received the flowers.

“Nobody should send me flowers if it’s not something worthy of my appreciation. I don’t even know who sent it,” she said.

“Nobody has reached out to ask if I received it. If they had written their name, I would at least know who sent it. It is not even an actual card, and you want to be anonymous? I actually do not want to know who you are.”

The singer explained that the anonymous gesture failed to spark any curiosity, contrary to what the sender may have intended. Instead, she suggested that honesty and openness would have made the gift more meaningful.
