The Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Culture and Hospitality, Hon. Cornelius Doeyok Dongna’an, held a productive meeting with Mr. Dung, praising his dedication to projecting the beauty and identity of Berom culture during festivals such as the Nzem Berom Cultural Festival.

Over the years, Mr. Dung has become a respected figure for his remarkable traditional costume displays, contributing to cultural awareness and heritage promotion in Plateau State.

Hon. Dongna’an commended Mr. Dung for his passion and encouraged him to develop a recognisable cultural brand, noting that this would allow him to fully capitalise on opportunities in cultural tourism and gain broader recognition.

“Individuals who represent our culture with such passion should be encouraged to structure their work in a way that allows them to benefit from it.
