On Sunday, September 8, 2024, His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye marked his one year anniversary as the Soun of Ogbomosoland.

Since his installation, Oba Ghandi has redefined the importance and function of the traditional institution, ensuring that it remains a key pillar in promoting the welfare of the people.
