Under the theme Beyond Borders: Stories That Connect Us, the festival aims to highlight the vibrant narratives that transcend geography and culture, uniting audiences through shared human experiences.

Running from October 24 to 26, the Africuff Film Festival 2025 opens with the visually stunning Nigerian feature *King Lotanna*, a tale rich in mysticism, legacy, and resilience.

The festival closes on October 26 with the internationally acclaimed Aso Ebi Diaries, a glamorous tribute to family, fashion, and cultural pride, recently awarded Best Costume at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.

Beyond its captivating film screenings, Africuff Film Festival 2025 offers a rich programme of live performances, engaging panel discussions, and immersive art exhibitions.

Networking mixers further provide a valuable platform for filmmakers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts to connect.

The festival also proudly features student showcases, offering emerging talent from across the African diaspora a chance to shine on an international stage.

Emem Isong-Misodi, Director of Africuff Film Festival, underscores the festival’s inclusive mission, stating, “We want audiences to see themselves in these stories—no matter where they come from.”
