Nollywood actress and producer Yvonne Jegede has triggered widespread reactions after she made a strongly worded post on social media criticising supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu amid growing national concerns over insecurity in Nigeria.

The actress made the remarks via her Instagram story, where she linked political support for the President to criminal behaviour, a statement that has since drawn significant attention across social platforms.

“Every supporter of Tinubu is a kidnapper, killer, beheader, and corrupt individual. Deal with your conscience,” she wrote.

The comments come against the backdrop of heightened public anger over recent incidents of violence and abductions across parts of the country, including the reported kidnapping of schoolchildren in Oyo State and the killing of a teacher, which have sparked nationwide outrage.
