The actor made the appeal in a video clip, where he expressed concern over the state of the country and the growing tendency for young people to be mobilised for political conflicts.

Zubby Michael stressed that the real struggle in Nigeria should not be between youths themselves but against broader national challenges affecting citizens.

He listed issues such as injustice, kidnapping, corruption, insecurity and poor governance as the real battles that should demand the attention of young Nigerians.

According to him, political actors should not be allowed to turn youths into instruments of violence during elections.

“The war is not youth against youth. It’s youth against injustice. Youth against kidnapping. Youth against stealing. Youth against bad governance,” he said.

He further cautioned that young people must resist manipulation, insisting that they should not be used to fight battles on behalf of politicians while suffering from hardship and poor infrastructure.

The actor’s remarks come amid growing concerns over electoral tensions and calls for peaceful participation in the democratic process.
