Oguntoye Twins win Tourism Excellence Award for promoting Ibadan through the Ibadan Travel & Tourism Expo at Oyo State’s 2nd International Tourism Summit

Oguntoye Twins Tourism Excellence Award crowned a night of celebration at the Oyo State 2nd International Tourism Summit as Ambassadors Taiwo & Kehinde Oguntoye popularly known as The Most Famous Twins in African Tourism were honoured for their groundbreaking contributions to tourism development in Ibadan.

The twins received the Tourism Excellence Award during the prestigious Governors’ Dinner held on July 24, 2025, at the International Conference Center, Ibadan.

Hosted by Governor Seyi Makinde, the event gathered top policymakers, cultural icons, and tourism stakeholders to celebrate the trailblazers shaping the industry.

The award recognized the impact of their flagship initiative the Ibadan Travel and Tourism Expo (ITTE) which has elevated Destination Ibadan into a powerful brand across Nigeria and West Africa.

Their tireless efforts in grassroots tourism advocacy, creative destination marketing, and cultural storytelling have positioned Ibadan as a hub for both domestic and international travel.

“This award is for Ibadan,” the Oguntoye Twins declared. “From Bower’s Tower to Amala spots, this city is a living museum—and we’re proud to be its loudest promoters.”
