The festival, aimed at promoting unity and celebrating Africa’s rich cultural diversity, is expected to draw thousands of visitors from across Nigeria and beyond.

Festival Director Malcolm Oseahon described MADEFest as more than an event — it is a movement designed to inspire creativity, connect communities, and celebrate culture.

This year’s edition, themed “Fusion of Eras,” promises a bold and nostalgic celebration rooted in the Nigerian spirit of resilience and beauty.

Endorsed by the Federal Ministries of Women Affairs, Art and Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, and Youth Development, the four-day festival will feature music competitions to discover Africa’s next rising star, live performances by top and emerging artists, cultural exhibitions, food and fashion fairs, and workshops to inspire young innovators. Family-friendly zones and creative hubs for children are also included.

In addition, MADEFest Afterhours, or Detty December, will offer exclusive nighttime performances, DJ sets, and cultural fusion parties.

Hosted by Sealed Empire in collaboration with strategic partners, the festival aims to highlight Africa’s artistic brilliance while promoting sustainable development through the arts.
