Legend Extra Stout partners Adekunle Gold for a Fuji-themed Lagos street carnival celebrating Nigerian music, creativity, and cultural pride
Legend Extra Stout partners Adekunle Gold to celebrate Nigerian music, culture, and artistry through a vibrant street carnival in Lagos.
The event, themed “Legend Extra Stout x Mainland BlockParty,” was held on Broad Street, Lagos Island, as part of the celebration of Adekunle Gold’s sixth studio album, Fuji.
In a statement, the brand described the collaboration as a bold expression of Nigerian creativity, saying it reflected Legend’s long-standing commitment to promoting music and cultural heritage.
“Legend Extra Stout stands for boldness and originality, and our collaboration with Gold embodies that spirit. This partnership celebrates not just music but the energy and creativity that define Nigeria,” the company said.
During the carnival, Adekunle Gold thrilled fans with live performances of some of his hit songs and was joined on stage by rapper Zlatan and rising artist Tml Vibez.
A major highlight of the night came when Gold honoured the Fuji genre — the inspiration behind his latest album — performing alongside legendary Fuji artistes Saheed Osupa, Taye Currency, and Obesere.
At the centre of the celebration was Legend Extra Stout’s iconic bar, where guests enjoyed the brand’s signature flavour while soaking in the electrifying atmosphere.
According to the company, the partnership with Adekunle Gold reaffirms its dedication to supporting Nigerian artistry and connecting with a new generation of bold, expressive fans.
By fusing the rich sounds of Fuji with the brand’s message of originality, Legend Extra Stout partners Adekunle Gold to celebrate what it means to be proudly Nigerian — creative, confident, and authentic.
