Governor Umo Eno inspects key tourism projects in Uyo, reaffirming commitment to quality, transparency, and economic growth in Akwa Ibom State

Governor Umo Eno Tourism Projects received a hands-on assessment as the Akwa Ibom State Governor led his Executive Council on an impromptu inspection of major infrastructure sites in Uyo.

Fresh from a council meeting, Governor Eno visited the International Convention Centre, Ibom Hotel, ARISE Shopping City, and a newly developing amusement park.

The surprise inspection underscored his commitment to quality execution and public accountability.

“They voted us in to work, and we must work in a way that guarantees both quality and transparency,” the governor said, emphasizing his administration’s focus on value-driven development.

He noted that the Uyo City tourism ecosystem forms a critical pillar of his government’s economic roadmap. According to him, these projects are not just aesthetic they are intended to drive long-term employment, attract investors, and strengthen the state’s regional appeal.
