Badagry Int’l Film Festival postponed to November 15

Organisers of the Badagry International Film, Cultural and Sports Festival (BIFIF) have postponed the festival earlier scheduled for October to November 15th 2023.

According to Mr Viyon Awhanse, Chief Executive Officer, BIFIF, the festival was moved for logistic reasons and further planning.

“We have decided to postpone the festival to November 15 to 18 for logistic reasons and for further planning and inclusion of stakeholders, which will help us deliver a film festival we all can be proud of,” he said.

Awhanse added that The festival, which has the theme “Once Upon A Time,” will include sports, tourism, and entertainment activities.

He said the festival which aims to reposition Badagry and make it more attractive for local and International tourists will attract no fewer than 5,000 tourists.

He added that the tourists are expected from Brazil, Asia, East Africa, and other countries around the world.
