The Lagos-based African fashion brand, founded by Ebuka Ebuziem, is standing as a symbol of innovation and heritage on a global stage.

CANEX, held under the broader IATF, has become one of Africa’s most important platforms for the creative economy.

With the theme “One People, United in Culture, Creating for the World,” the 2025 edition is bringing together leaders, businesses, governments, and investors to celebrate African talent and foster collaboration.

For Adire Teems Nigeria, the event is more than an exhibition—it is a chance to tell Nigeria’s story through textile artistry.

The brand is known for blending traditional Adire dyeing techniques with modern fashion design, creating pieces that carry both cultural memory and contemporary relevance.

“Adire is a living archive of our history, a creative language that speaks of our artistry, beauty, and identity,” said Founder Ebuka Ebuziem. “To showcase this on a global stage like CANEX is both a responsibility and an opportunity, one we are proud to carry on behalf of Nigeria.”

The week-long CANEX at IATF 2025, from September 4 to 10, is hosting exhibitions, business-to-business and government exchanges, and collaborative sessions aimed at scaling Africa’s creative industries.

For Adire Teems Nigeria, the platform also offers opportunities to connect with other creators, explore cross-continental partnerships, and attract investors who believe in culture as an engine of economic growth.

The brand’s participation underscores a larger story: Nigeria’s creative industries—from fashion and film to music and visual arts—are export-ready. With platforms like CANEX, Nigerian talent is gaining visibility while shaping global cultural trends.
