Nigerian rapper and singer Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has issued a public apology to fellow artiste Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, known as Seyi Vibez, following a heated online disagreement between the two musicians.

The dispute reportedly began on May 26 after Seyi Vibez accused Zlatan Ibile of making subtle remarks that appeared to mock his Fuji Moto project through ad-libs on Adekunle Gold’s track Life of the Faaji.

The exchange escalated further when Seyi Vibez allegedly described Zlatan Ibile as a “backup artiste” and criticised his clothing line, deepening tensions between both camps and sparking widespread reactions from fans across social media platforms.

In a statement shared via his official social media handle on Thursday, Zlatan Ibile moved to calm tensions, insisting the situation stemmed from a misunderstanding rather than deliberate intent.

“It actually hurts that my brother thinks I would diss him in anyway. It’s literally a misunderstanding. @seyi_vibez it’s all love bro, when you’re ready to talk it out I’m here!! 4L ABURO MI,” he wrote.

The apology marks a significant attempt to de-escalate the feud, with Zlatan Ibile expressing openness to reconciliation and reaffirming what he described as brotherly affection toward Seyi Vibez.
