Speaking during a discussion on TVC Entertainment, Yeni Kuti dismissed the ongoing public controversy surrounding the couple and expressed her personal support for their decision.

“I see nothing wrong with it,” she stated. “I actually know her — she made my 60th dress for my birthday. After the guy was jailed, he still came out and denied it. So he might have denied it to her and she believed him and she is entitled to believe him if she wants.”

The fashion designer, popularly known as CEO Luminee, recently welcomed her first child with Baba Ijesha, a development that has divided opinions on social media.

Baba Ijesha was previously convicted and jailed in connection with a high-profile case involving a minor. He has consistently maintained his innocence since his release.
