Turkish Health Care Group, Lokman Hekim led by her CEO Alpher Incoez has paid a courtesy visit to her Nigerian counterpart, Finance, Investment Healthcare Ltd, (FIT Healthcare Limited) in Lagos, to seek collaboration to end medical tourism in Nigeria.

In a press briefing held yesterday at Movenpick hotel, Ikoyi, Dr. Michael Ileka, Chairman, FIT health care, said the visit of their Turkish partners is very instructive coming at a time Nigeria is going through economic constrains, he stated that their presence highlights the importance of building strong relationship required to make the project successful. Again, he said, Lokman Hekim Health Group will share their wealth of knowledge and experience which will help play vital role in eco-system that prioritizes patients care, innovation, community well-being and shared vision of the state of the arts medical tourism facility while delivering a world class medical tourism in Nigeria, to serve Africa and other foreign countries of the world.

Ileka reiterated the fact that FIT Group of companies which is building the first medical city in Nigeria are privileged to have one of the largest private hospitals in Turkey which is quoted in the Turkish top market as technical partners and operator.

While the Turkish group boasts of information, accreditation and certification that its operation meets world-class safety and quality standards, Nigeria Partner has 250-bed-multi specialty hospital which will be supported by the 150-bed Hilton hotel, in the midst of 1000 residencies, all located in a 1.2metre square meters of land along Enugu Port Harcourt international airport way, Enugu in Enugu state; chairman stated.

CEO of FIT Healthcare Limited, Chief Loretta Aniagolu expressed satisfaction with the modus operandi of Lokman Hekim Group while extoling their virtues as one of the best in medical tourism whose presence in Nigeria would bridge the gap of medical tourism in the country.
