BBNaija star Kola says love has shown him “shege” as he reflects on his relationship struggles during the Season 10 reunion

Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Kola has opened up on his experience with love, admitting that his romantic journey has been difficult and emotionally challenging.

Kola made the revelation ahead of the BBNaija reunion episode that premiered on Monday night, where ex-housemates revisited their experiences in the house and after the show.

The reality star said he has not been lucky in matters of the heart, describing his experience in emotional terms.

According to him, love has dealt with him in a way he described as “shege,” a slang expression used to describe hardship or difficulty.

“Love has shown me shege. The funny thing is that some people die without never falling in love. So, the joy is that every time you fall in love, you should be happy that you are in love because not everyone gets to experience it,” he said.

During his time on the show, Kola was widely known for openly expressing his feelings for fellow housemate Dede, despite not receiving a reciprocal response.

After the show, Dede maintained that she would still not have pursued a relationship with him, stating that he was not her ideal partner.
