Themed “Celebrating Diversity, Connecting Cultures, and Creating Tomorrow,” the carnival attracted attendees from across the country, uniting them through music, dance, art, and culinary experiences.

Representing the Nigerian Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, Assistant Director Alice Onoriode commended the organising committee, led by Chairman Omoefe Tawiyah, for successfully staging the third edition of the carnival.

“The iBelieve Carnival is an important platform to showcase Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage and foster tourism through creative exhibitions and performances.

It is also a dynamic space for cultural exchange, economic empowerment, and the celebration of our nation’s diversity,” Onoriode said.

The Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA), Olayiwola Awakan, also addressed attendees, highlighting the role of culture, tourism, and the arts in national identity and economic growth.

He stressed the importance of collaboration between public and private sectors to advance President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Chairman of the Organising Committee, Omoefe Tawiyah, described the carnival as more than a festival—it is a movement aimed at igniting hope, linking dreams to opportunities, and promoting Nigeria’s rich heritage.

Over the three days, the carnival featured entrepreneurship development, business networking, cultural exhibitions, culinary showcases, and live performances, all designed to highlight the nation’s diversity.

Tawiyah emphasised that the event also aims to elevate Abuja and Nigeria as global tourism destinations, empower SMEs, generate job opportunities, and reignite national pride.
