Ehi Braimah Rotary leadership journey advances as he emerges District Governor-Nominee Designate for District 9112

Ehi Braimah has been officially confirmed as the District Governor-Nominee Designate for Rotary International District 9112 during the organisation’s 2026 District Conference holding in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The confirmation positions Braimah to assume office as District Governor for the 2028–2029 Rotary year, where he will oversee more than 86 Rotary clubs and over 2,300 Rotarians spread across parts of Lagos and Ogun states.

The announcement formed one of the major highlights of the conference, which gathered Rotarians, community leaders and stakeholders from across the district for strategic discussions on humanitarian service, leadership and community development.

The Ehi Braimah Rotary leadership emergence has attracted attention within media and public relations circles due to his longstanding involvement in communication, civic engagement and Rotary activities.

Braimah is a respected public relations specialist and currently serves as Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Naija Times and Lagos Post.

Within Rotary International, he previously served as Chairman of the District Public Image Committee and also held the position of Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Africa.

Rotary members at the conference described the appointment as a powerful recognition of Braimah’s leadership experience, communication expertise and commitment to humanitarian service.

As District Governor for the 2028–2029 Rotary year, Braimah will be expected to coordinate programmes focused on community development, education, healthcare, youth empowerment and humanitarian interventions across District 9112.

The Ehi Braimah Rotary leadership role also reflects the increasing influence of Nigerian professionals within international civic and humanitarian organisations.

Observers at the conference noted that his extensive background in media and strategic communication could further strengthen Rotary’s public engagement and visibility efforts within the district.
