Nigerian streamer and entertainer Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe, has reacted after his United States visa application was denied, expressing disappointment over the decision.

Carter Efe spoke about the development during a livestream, where he revealed that the rejection left him frustrated and affected his plans to travel outside Nigeria.

The content creator said he felt restricted by the outcome, explaining that he was unable to move freely as he had hoped.

“Chat, I won’t lie to you. We’re trapped in this country. In case you don’t know, we are trapped,” Carter Efe said during the livestream.

“We no fit go anywhere we want. We can’t go anywhere we want, bro. We’re finished. We’re doomed. I swear to God,” he added.

The streamer also disclosed that popular American content creator Kai Cenat had attempted to assist him with the visa process, but the effort did not lead to approval.

Carter Efe’s reaction has generated conversations among fans, with many discussing the challenges entertainers sometimes face when travelling internationally for collaborations, events and creative projects.

Known for his comedy, online entertainment and music-related content, Carter Efe has built a significant following among Nigerian digital audiences.

His planned visit to the United States was expected to provide opportunities for international engagements, but the visa denial has temporarily affected those plans.
