BBNaija Kola denies romantic intent toward Dede during reunion, sparking fresh revelations and emotional exchanges on the show

Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Kola has stated during the ongoing reunion show that he never intended to pursue a romantic relationship with fellow contestant Dede, despite what he described as public perception and on-screen interactions during the reality series.

BBNaija Kola Dede reunion discussion unfolded during the second episode of the reunion, aired on Tuesday night, where several housemates revisited unresolved tensions and relationship dynamics from their time in the house.

Kola made the clarification while addressing questions about his connection with Dede, insisting that his actions during the show had been misinterpreted.

“I never said I wanted to date Dede,” he said.

His close friend and fellow housemate Bright Morgan also weighed in during the episode, revealing that he had previously advised Kola to step back from pursuing Dede romantically.

“I told Kola to leave Dede, babe wey like you will not stress you,” Morgan said.

Dede, however, presented a different account of events, explaining that their friendship changed after Kola allegedly referred to her as “the other person” during a media interview after the show.

She said their relationship had initially been cordial, noting that Kola had reached out to her after the programme ended and maintained that they were on good terms despite public perceptions.

Dede further recounted encounters at social events, including a meeting at Tacha’s birthday party, where she said they spoke privately, and a later invitation to Kola’s residence where discussions about a kiss inside Big Brother’s house were revisited.

When questioned by reunion host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Kola denied extending any invitation to Dede, firmly rejecting the claim.

“I never invited Dede to my house,” he said.
