Akarigbo Unveils Remo Culture, Tourism E- Magazine

A socio-cultural and tourism weekly electronic documentary magazine called Remo Culture and Tourism received a royal blessing and unveiled to the general public on Wednesday, 3rd July, 2024 by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, (Torungbuwa II), Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland at his palace, Ita-Oba, Sagamu, Ogun State.

The Management of First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited, the official publisher of the Remo centric socio-cultural and tourism destinations electronic documentary magazine were led to the Akarigbo’s Palace by Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko, Chief Executive Officer, First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited, Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko said, the mission of Remo Culture and Tourism, a weekly documentary magazine is to be discovering, projecting, promoting and branding Remo’s unique traditions, cultural heritages, historical and tourism potentials towards socio-economic development of Remoland and Ogun State in general.

He further said that, the socio-cultural and electronic documentary weekly magazine will be showcasing Remo’s landscapes, historical towns, the people, beauty, glamours, heritages, diversity, cuisines, music, arts films and creative industry of Remoland.

And that, each weekly edition will be dedicated to showcasing the unique heritage, vibrant arts, and thriving tourism of this remarkable region. From traditional customs to modern innovations, our magazine will offer an in-depth look at what makes Remoland a cultural treasure.

In his royal remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, (Torungbuwa II), Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland applauded the management of the First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited, the publishers of the electronic documentary magazine for the culture and tourism initiative for the purpose of projecting, promoting and branding Remo’s unique traditions and culture.

The monarch said, the initiative is timely to fill some missing gaps in relating and reporting correctly Remo’s socio-cultural events and festivals to the global community through media, entertainment and creative industry. The monarch enjoined the organization to work closely Remo Traditional Council, cultural related organizations and other stakeholders in Remoland for actualization of their organization’s set out objectives.

In attendance at the unveiling were His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Taiwo Taiwo, (Amororo II), Onipara of Ipara Remo; Chief (Barr.) Adebayo Onafuwa, Bamofin of Remoland, Otunba Abiodun Aina, Chief of Staff to Akarigbo, Mr. Blacky, Mr. Kehinde Jayeola, Mr. Taofeek Oduwaye, Mr. Yusuf Sonaike and Mr. Leken Ojeleye.
