The Yobe Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development have handed over the project site for the construction of the prestigious Yobe City Centre.

The state’s Commissioner for Commerce, Alhaji Kaigama Umar, stated this on Sunday in Damaturu.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Alhaji Inuwa Gulani, Umar said the site was handed over to Thinklab Group Limited to construct the mall to boost the economic viability of the state.

Umar added that the project aligned with the government’s commitment to foster sustainable economic growth, create employment opportunities, and enhance the quality of life for the people of the state.

The commissioner said the firm was a renowned conglomerate with vast experience in large-scale projects, infrastructure, and energy.

“We are delighted to have their team led by Dr. Sa’id Kori, Chairman of the conglomerate on board for this venture. Their track record of excellence and commitment to quality delivery reassures us that the Yobe City Centre Mall will be a testament to their expertise and dedication,” he said.

In his remarks, Kori expressed gratitude to the state government and other stakeholders for entrusting his company.

He promised the timely completion of the project with the utmost adherence to international quality and standards.
