Odumodublvck Choc City police petition tour dispute escalates as rapper claims label tried to stop his European tour through police petition

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has accused Chocolate City of attempting to disrupt his European tour through a police petition, on Thursday, June 5, 2026, amid an escalating dispute between both parties in Nigeria’s music industry.

Odumodublvck dispute gained attention after the rapper took to X, where he alleged that the record label had repeatedly attempted to have him arrested ahead of major international performances.

He claimed the latest petition was aimed at stopping his European tour and described it as part of what he called a sustained pattern of harassment.

Odumodublvck said the label had made several similar attempts in the past year, including efforts linked to his American tour. He described the alleged actions as the ninth attempt to have him arrested.

In his posts, the rapper alleged that the petition lacked basic contact details, including a phone number, which he said raised concerns about its legitimacy and intent.

He further questioned the circumstances surrounding the petition and directed concerns to the Nigeria Police Force, suggesting that due process must be followed in handling such complaints.

The rapper also referenced earlier disputes with the label, including allegations connected to internal disagreements and public statements he made about individuals within the organisation.

Chocolate City has not issued a public response to the latest allegations as of the time of filing this report.

The dispute between both parties has been ongoing since late 2025, with tensions reportedly escalating over performance issues, public exchanges, and legal petitions.

Previous incidents cited in the broader conflict include allegations of assault during a Lagos event in December 2025 and earlier court summons linked to separate petitions filed by parties connected to Chocolate City.

Odumodublvck has consistently denied wrongdoing, insisting that he is being targeted unfairly and misrepresented in ongoing legal and public disputes.
