Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi Oluwo of Iwo and his wife, Firdaus, have welcomed their first child. He remarried barely three years of divorce from his first marriage to a Jamaican, Chanel Chin. Oluwo of Iwo married Firdaus of the royal family in Kano in March 2022.

His marriage to Chanel, which produced one child he named ‘Oduduwa’, later crashed in December 2019 following ‘irreconcilable differences’. Chanel quietly relocated back to Canada with her kid.

The press secretary to the monarch, Alli Ibrahim Confirm the news, in a statement said: “Oluwo expressed appreciation to Olodumare (God) for blessing my home with the handsome, promising child.
