Top Nigerian entertainers are bringing African culture to London on 29th November 2024 at ‘Our Night of Heritage’ with live performances and awards.
London is set for an evening of vibrant cultural celebration as top Nigerian entertainers gather for ‘Our Night of Heritage’ (Ale Asa Wa) on Friday, 29th November 2024.
This annual event, dedicated to celebrating excellence in African concerts, shows, and cultural events, will take place at LOG Hall Abbey Quilting, Selinas Lane, Dagenham, London, RM8 1ES.
With anticipation building, this year’s edition promises an unforgettable experience for fans and culture enthusiasts alike.
Princess Adetutu Jakande, CEO of Angel Global Promotions UK and organiser of Ale Asa Wa, expressed the event’s mission to honour African culture and entertainment.
“This fifth edition of the AfriCulture awards is a celebration of African heritage and a tribute to those whose talents have enriched the entertainment industry,” she shared.
The event will showcase Nigeria’s cultural and musical talents while streaming live globally, connecting audiences worldwide to the heart of African arts.
The lineup is packed with prominent entertainers who are set to bring glamour and energy to the stage. Gospel star Biyi Samuel, renowned Fuji artist Alhaji Lateef (also known as Student Fuji), and Afro-soul singer Kemi Alayo (Idi Ope) will be performing.
Other notable acts include Poly Mr Correct, Ekundayo Mr Manna, Alhaji Wasiu Adekunle Classical Fuji, comedian MC Loko (Omo Woli), and Omoba Ademola (Demo Performer), along with various side attractions to enhance the cultural immersion.
Nollywood actor Kunle Afod will make a special guest appearance, adding star power to the evening’s festivities. With an entry fee of £30, attendees are encouraged to don Ankara fabrics for easy access to the event.
