Organisers of The Headies Awards have scheduled June 15 for the release of details regarding its 18th edition, prompting widespread reactions across social media and within Nigeria’s music industry.

The 17th edition of The Headies was held in Lagos in April 2025, marking a return to Nigeria after earlier international editions, while attention now shifts to the upcoming 18th edition announcement scheduled for June 15.
