    Festac Africa Festival Ambassador Benny Willis meets with paramount Ruler of Iwo-land H.I.M. Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi

    Ambassador Benny Willis, a Nigerian Ambassador to the FESTAC AFRICA FESTIVAL and the Official Cinematographer-Photographer-Videographer for FESTAC AFRICA 2024, recently had a meeting with The Paramount Ruler of Iwo-land, H.I.M. Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, to discuss the upcoming Road-To-FESTAC AFRICA 2024.

    During the meeting, The Oluwo of Iwo emphasized the significant role of FESTAC AFRICA in promoting and celebrating African culture through various aspects such as culture, music, food, fashion, language, etc.

    Additionally, he highlighted the essence of the spirit embedded in FESTAC AFRICA, aiming to enhance the beauty of African culture and showcase it to the world, transcending the mere worship of idols. The Oluwo of Iwo encouraged other monarchs, high-profile citizens, and individuals to join the movement in spotlighting Nigerian and African culture on a global platform.

    The Oluwo of Iwo congratulated Ambassador Benny Willis on his appointment as the official Cinematographer, Photographer, and Videographer for FESTAC AFRICA 2024, recognizing it as a testament to the recognition of Nigerian creativity on a global scale.

    Notably, Oba Abdulrasheed has been instrumental in promoting Nigerian culture internationally and has embraced new developments such as FESTAC AFRICA.

    FESTACAFRICA 2024 is set to take place in Kisumu-Kenya from May 20th to May 26th, 2024, while the Road-To-FESTAC AFRICA 2024 is scheduled for May 1st, 2024, in Abuja.
