Held on 2 November 2025 at the Forshamz Event Centre, the event attracted over 600 attendees, all eager to experience an evening of comedy, music, and heartfelt storytelling.

Nigeria’s top comedians — including Mc Pashun, Loud Voice, Job Legend, and several other “Comedy Gladiators” — delivered electrifying performances that filled the air with joy and relief, proving that laughter truly transcends hardship.

But beyond the laughter and applause, De Kronicles of Kris Talker 2.0 stood as a symbol of emotional resilience. The organisers described it as “a conscious effort to help people laugh again and remind them of the power of joy, even in hard times.”

For residents of Maiduguri — a city rebuilding from years of insurgency — the night meant more than just entertainment. It was therapy. Through shared laughter and connection, the show rekindled community spirit and reaffirmed the power of art in healing emotional wounds.

Audience members described the event as “a breath of fresh air” and “a reminder that joy still lives here.”
