The launch took place during a partnership announcement with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, marking a major step toward a more organised and vibrant yuletide season.

Detty Fusion is designed to give holidaymakers seamless access to curated lifestyle, entertainment and cultural activities throughout December.

Anchored on Access Bank’s CSR agenda, the platform also aims to spotlight SMEs, creative entrepreneurs, event organisers and service providers powering Lagos’ festive economy.

Access Bank Head of Mobility Business, Ishmael Nwokocha, said the partnership reflected the bank’s commitment to strengthening communities while empowering the creative sector.

He described Detty Fusion as a first-of-its-kind aggregator where users can browse event calendars, buy tickets, access discounts and make safe, seamless payments.

He noted that Lagos’ role as the cultural heart of Nigeria makes the initiative both timely and impactful. He added that Detty Fusion will amplify the city’s cultural vibrancy and contribute meaningfully to its creative economy.

Speaking for the Lagos State Government, Special Adviser Idris Aregbe praised the collaboration as a boost to the THEMES agenda. He said the partnership would help streamline festive activities and reinforce Lagos’ position as Africa’s entertainment capital.

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Adebopo Oyekan-Ismaila, commended Access Bank for investing in tourism-supporting platforms, adding that coordinated December events would ensure a safer and world-class festive experience.

Nwokocha confirmed that Access Bank is prepared to co-brand major cultural programmes, including Lagos Cultural Week, Culturalti, fashion showcases and other December celebrations.
