Located in the Kilimani district, the 155-room property is scheduled to open within the next 12 months.

It will offer a mix of leisure and business amenities, including multiple food and beverage outlets, fitness and wellness facilities, rooftop leisure features, and large-scale meeting spaces.

Owned by Albushra Real Estate Limited, Swiss-Belhotel International will operate the hotel under a long-term management arrangement.

The development is designed to appeal to both corporate and lifestyle travellers seeking modern design, social connectivity, and efficient service delivery.

Executives involved in the project described Nairobi as a strategic gateway city in East Africa, citing its business, diplomatic, commercial, and technology hubs as drivers of growing hospitality and conferencing demand.

The Kilimani location was chosen for its proximity to business districts, residential developments, and lifestyle destinations.

The launch of The Gama is part of Swiss-Belhotel’s broader plan to expand high-potential African markets and diversify its regional portfolio.
