Nigerian entrepreneur and socialite, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has spoken about his reported fallout with singer Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, linking the dispute to his close association with David Adeleke, popularly called Davido.

Cubana Chief Priest Cubana Burna Boy Fallout comments were made during an interview on The Beat 99.9 FM on Wednesday, where he reflected on his rise from apprenticeship to becoming a prominent figure in Nigeria’s entertainment and nightlife industry.

He said his journey to success was built on years of discipline, service, and hard work, noting that public success often attracts criticism and resentment from different quarters.

According to him, the disagreement with Burna Boy escalated after the singer allegedly made public comments targeting his wealth and personal achievements on social media.

“I was on my own and Burna Boy came for me, went on his big platform and started tweeting things that are not genuine,” he said.

He alleged that the criticism was aimed at undermining his financial status and public image.

Cubana Chief Priest further suggested that the tension between them was connected to his friendship with Davido, whom he described as a strong supporter of his business ventures.

He stated that Davido has consistently supported his nightlife businesses, including club openings and restaurant projects.

“David is always there for me. He opened all my nightclubs, restaurants, everything. He always shows up to support me,” he added.

The entrepreneur also noted that Davido is investing in nightlife ventures in Lagos while he continues to pursue music to expand his creative reach.

The remarks have reignited discussions across social media about long-standing tensions within Nigeria’s entertainment industry, where celebrity alliances often fuel public rivalries.
