Ciara Lagos Fashion Week visit excites fans as the American star brings global spotlight to Nigeria’s fashion and entertainment scene
Ciara Lagos Fashion Week appearance has sparked excitement and glamour across Nigeria’s cultural capital, as the multi-award-winning American singer, songwriter, and dancer arrived in Lagos for the 2025 edition of the city’s prestigious fashion event.
Ciara touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on 29 October 2025, welcomed with flowers, cheers, and a vibrant traditional dance display that captured the city’s infectious energy.
Her visit, facilitated by Delphino Entertainment in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, marks one of the high points of this year’s Lagos Fashion Week.
Although organisers have yet to confirm the full details of her engagements, it is widely believed that Ciara’s trip is connected to the fashion week’s major events, which run until 2 November.
In a statement shared via its verified social media accounts, Delphino Entertainment described hosting Ciara as “an incredible honour,” adding that the collaboration with Lagos Tourism reflects the city’s vibrant pulse and the creative spirit that defines Lagos life.
To make her stay memorable, organisers arranged a private luxury apartment tailored to her comfort, complete with a personalised pillow embroidered with her name and framed family photos—a thoughtful touch that delighted the star.
Ciara is expected to remain in Lagos until 3 November, attending select private engagements, including the Delphino Brunch on Sunday, 2 November, at the Lagos Polo Club, Ikoyi.
The exclusive event, known for blending music, fine dining, and fashion, will attract influential figures from Nigeria’s entertainment and business scenes.
Officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism said welcoming Ciara underscores the government’s commitment to positioning Lagos as Africa’s creative and cultural capital.
Her visit also enhances the 15th-anniversary celebration of Lagos Fashion Week, a platform that continues to elevate African designers and connect the continent’s style industry to the global stage.
Ciara’s presence not only adds a powerful international spotlight to the event but also reaffirms Lagos’ growing influence as a global hub for fashion, art, and entertainment.
