Regina Chukwu Janmole Death Reaction sees the actress mourn the late actor, recalling their last meeting on set before his tragic passing

Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the death of actor and comedian Adeshina Okiki, popularly known as Janmole, recalling their final encounter on a film set shortly before his passing was confirmed.

The tragic news of Janmole’s death began circulating on Monday night and was later confirmed by the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin.

Reaction regarding Actor Janmole death has since drawn attention across the Nigerian film industry, with colleagues paying tribute to the late actor described as a vibrant and talented performer.

According to Mr Latin, Janmole died from injuries sustained in a road accident. In his condolence message, he prayed for the repose of the deceased and comfort for his family, describing the loss as irreparable.

Regina Chukwu, in a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, expressed shock at the sudden passing and revealed that she had worked with the late actor just days earlier.

She wrote: “Janmole haaaa you were just on my set last week 😭😭😭😭 I am heartbroken. Who would have thought that was going to be our last encounter 😕 It’s a pity you had to go the way you did. RIP to a great actor … it’s well o.”

Her reaction has been widely described as emotional, reflecting the close-knit nature of the Nollywood industry, where many practitioners frequently work together across multiple productions.

Janmole’s death also comes nearly four years after he survived a serious road accident in 2022 on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway, an incident he previously described as life-changing.
