Nigerian Marketing Awards announces 2025 Council and gains NIPR endorsement, reinforcing its status as Nigeria’s most credible marketing platform
The 2025 Awards Decision Council for the Nigerian Marketing Awards has been announced, featuring a diverse group of marketing leaders and experts from across Nigeria’s marketing ecosystem.
The announcement also came with a significant endorsement from the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), further solidifying the Awards’ reputation as the most credible platform for recognising marketing excellence in Nigeria.
The 2025 Council includes respected professionals from top brands, agencies, media, public relations, regulation, and experiential marketing.
Chaired by Iquo Ukoh, FNIMN, CEO of Entod Marketing Ltd, the panel includes seasoned names such as Bunmi Oke of Ladybird Limited, Dr. Nkechi Ali-Balogun of NECCI Consulting, Tomiwa Aladekomo of Big Cabal Media, and Angela Ukara-Makinwa of EXP Marketing, among others.
Nigerian Marketing Awards has once again demonstrated its commitment to transparency and inclusion by featuring representatives from all five foundational professional bodies — ARCON, NIMN, AAAN, EXMAN, and OAAN — now joined by NIPR, marking a landmark development in its evolution.
NIPR’s formal endorsement includes the nomination of Tokunboh George-Taylor, a respected communications leader, to the Council.
This development positions NMA as a unique industry platform that draws legitimacy from across the entire marketing communications value chain.
Founder of the Nigerian Marketing Awards, Tony Agenmonmen, FNIMN, described the update as “a milestone in our journey to build the biggest and most credible marketing awards in Nigeria.”
He highlighted the Awards’ ongoing accreditation by the UK-based Independent Awards Standards Council (IASC), which benchmarks the programme’s processes against global best practices.
The fourth edition of the Nigerian Marketing Awards® is scheduled for 15 November 2025 at The Jewel Aeida in Lagos.
The Call for Entries remains open until 30 September 2025, with submissions already flowing in from top agencies and brands nationwide.
As the Nigerian Marketing Awards continues to raise the bar for marketing excellence, the unveiling of the 2025 Council signals another power move towards deeper industry trust, credibility, and long-term impact.
